Regulations
In accordance with the decision No. 147/XVI R/2021 of Wroclaw Medical University Rector, Wroclaw Medical University Press Regulations came into force on June 11, 2021.
History
Wroclaw Medical University Press – Polish academic publishing house functioning since 1976 at Wroclaw Medical University. Until 2007, it was functioning as Publishing Press Department, in the years 2007-2015 as Publishing Press and Promotion Department. The supervisor of the unit is Vice-Rector for University Development.
Wroclaw Medical University (previously functioning as Wroclaw Medical Academy) has been part of the publishing industry since 1976. The first manager of the unit was Bożena Kuczyńska (until 1995). In the years 1995–2005 the head of Publishing House Department was Urszula Mądrzak, in the years 2006–2014 Małgorzata Kuniewska-Kaucz. Since 2014, the manager of the Publishing Press is Monika Kolęda. Until May 2004, the publishing house headquarters were located at Pasteura 1 Street and in the years 2004–2015 at Chałubińskiego 6A Street. Currently, Wroclaw Medical University Press is located in Scientific Medical Information Centre at Marcinkowskiego 2–6 Street.
